On February 16 and 17, the Transfiere Forum was held at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga, a meeting point for international R&D&. Aurora López, director of the Advanced Technological Solutions Area of Grupo Tecopy, came to the city of Malaga to learn about European projects in the field of science, technology and innovation, attend panels and conferences in which current initiatives and future trends were presented, and exchange ideas and experiences with customers and partners such as Telefónica, the main sponsor of the congress.
The Transfiere Forum has brought together more than 500 companies and innovation driving entities at international level, to promote the financing of R&D&I projects and new business models within the framework of digital transformation, through more than 130 thematic panels and activities. In its ten years of life, 79 prototypes have been presented (in its last 3 editions), 6 journalism prizes have been awarded to which 296 works have been presented, 20 technological challenges have been presented during 4 editions, 230 parallel activities have been organised, 6 guest countries have participated, 10,054 entities, 1,474 speakers, 31,623 professional participants and 43,974 bilateral meetings have been held between the attendees.
At the same time, the I Workshop “Clusters meet Regions” was held in Malaga, the first pilot initiative of this type of face-to-face event of the ECCP (European Cluster Collaboration Platform), a European hub of industrial clusters whose mission is to strengthen the European economy through collaboration. Intense one and a half day program that the company has attended along with other members of the Board of Directors of the SIVI Cluster of Innovative Solutions for Independent Living that will help Agrupación Empresarial Innovadora in the preparation of proposals in consortium for calls for programs with European funds.
