There is currently a need to improve the management and organization of natural areas, more concretely forests, in order to conserve these resources for the future. The result has been the development of specific regulations such as Law 45/2007 for Sustainable Rural Development and Law 42/2007 regarding Biodiversity and Natural Heritage, among others.

Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have started to cover some of these needs, and techniques such as remote sensing and tools such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have become more important.

Grupo Tecopy has an experienced team specialized in GIS, remote sensing and its application to forest management which has participated in several research projects in this field. Thus Grupo Tecopy can offer its clients, both public and private, an unbeatable service adapted to their needs.
