The Spanish company TECOPY S.A.U. went on a trade visit to Nicaragua to hold meetings with the most representative local companies and institutions in the civil engineering and building sector.
The aim of the trade mission was to gain a well-defined understanding of the procedures, requirements and actions to be taken upon future tendering processes in the country. TECOPY S.A.U. views Nicaragua as a target market where it may expand and develop its various business activities. This trade mission is part of the company’s international expansion strategy seeking business opportunities in emerging countries.
Likewise, TECOPY, S.A.U. wanted to begin making a name for itself as a company and present the services we offer in civil engineering and consulting and highlight our specialization in the design and development of hydraulic engineering studies to the companies and institutions participating in the trade activities.
For the trade mission to Nicaragua, TECOPY, S.A.U. received assistance from the Castilla y León Agency for Enterprise Innovation, Financing and Internationalization (ADE) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the programme of grants aimed at funding international expansion projects for SMEs in the region of Castilla y León.
It is worth underlining that this trade mission was quite effective as we were able to strengthen our relations with already-known institutions and we were subsequently awarded a large project.
